Welcome, and thanks for dropping by! I am Elizabeth Kerner, the author of the Tales of Kolmar - Song in the Silence, The Lesser Kindred, and Redeeming the Lost.
I'd like to thank those of you who have taken the time over the last few years to post messages in my Guestbook and who have kicked me sufficiently of late that I have finally gotten around to updating this place for the first time in about - oh, a year and a half. (You know, for a natural Luddite that's not bad.)
Redeeming the Lost, my latest book, came out in hardcover in June 2004. The paperback, for those of you kind folk who have asked, is due to be published in late November/ early December 2005.
Credit Where It Is Due Dept. - Sandy Fleming, a fine writer in the Scots language and a good chum, has created and maintains this website out of the goodness of his heart, for which I am very grateful. James A. Quick, composer extraordinaire and dear friend of far too many years, has graciously allowed me to use his composition for the background music. Many thanks, lads!
On this site you'll find links to some of my favorite writers and artists, a section of News/ FAQs, a link to an interview I gave some time ago, a brief and patchy biography and my guestbook. I would like to take this opportunity also to say thank you to those of you who have been so kind and encouraging about my work. I read every entry (well, except the robot spam!) and every e-mail, and I very much appreciate your taking the time and effort to post or send a cheery message. It means a lot.
I am presently in the midst of preparing a proposal for my editor for the next book in the series and for another potential work in collaboration with a friend of mine. Wish me luck and a following wind...
